The profession of a doctor is one of the oldest and most respected professions. In ancient times people respected and appreciated those who could relieve pain, knowing treatment for diseases. The mind of the scientist and the sensitive hands of the doctor are capable of doing miracles. But not only the joy of victory is experienced by doctors. Unfortunately, medicine is not all-powerful. How hard, looking into the eyes of those close to the patient who could not be saved, say: "We did everything we could, but ...". It is hard to be aware of your impotence before the illness. Ancient scientist Avicenna said this: "The doctor must have the eyes of a falcon, the hands of a girl, the wisdom of a snake and the heart of a lion." These words can be attributed to many doctors in our time. Selflessness and unselfishness, love for people and the desire to help them are the inalienable qualities of a modern doctor. Throughout the life a doctor must carry words from the Hippocratic oath: "Whatever home I go in, I'll go in there for the benefit of the sick."
